Most Families Ask
Most families worry about these things. The good news is, they are usually much easier than they seem
-
Please don't worry.
Many families assume they need hundreds of photographs, but that's rarely the case.
As a guide:
Soft Drift: around 20–30 photographs
Reflections: around 40–60 photographs
Evermore: around 60–80 photographs
These are guides only. Every slideshow is different, and we're happy to work with smaller collections when they capture the moments that matter most.
It's always the quality of the memories, not the quantity of the photographs, that creates a meaningful tribute.
-
No.
You don't need to sort them into folders, rename files or arrange them in order before sending them.
Many families simply upload everything they have.
We'll organise the photographs into a natural flow and contact you if we have any questions.
If there are certain photographs you definitely want included, or others you'd prefer not to use, simply let us know.
-
Absolutely.
Phone photographs often become some of the most meaningful images in a funeral slideshow because they capture everyday moments.
You can also include:
Printed photographs
Scanned images
Screenshots
Photos sent through text messages
Images shared by family members
If an image is blurry or damaged, we'll do our best to improve it where possible.
-
That's completely normal.
Some families already know the perfect song. Others have no idea where to start.
If you're unsure, we can suggest music based on the person's personality, interests or the type of service you're planning.
Whether you choose a favourite artist, a gentle instrumental piece or something deeply personal, we'll help you find music that feels right.
-
You don't need to write a perfect biography.
A few simple memories are often all we need.
You might tell us:
what they were known for
things they loved
family sayings
hobbies
favourite places
funny memories
the little things everyone remembers
We have developed a step by step form to guide you through providing a tribute that feels natural and personal.
-
That's perfectly okay.
You don't need every photograph, every song or every memory organised before getting in touch.
Simply contact us and let us know when the funeral or celebration of life service is being held.
We'll guide you through what we need, when we need it and help you through the process one step at a time.
